Beatabet act Bunty Le Jule (who are soon to change their name – watch this space) will be performing with Trio Tekke and others at Saint Andrew’s church in Hove. The space is amazing and is the perfect place to see the guys do their thing! 2nd March 7.30 p.m.
Eilir Pierce and Seiriol Davies from Beatabet have been making music on the BBC’s Welsh language radio. Listen to the results and watch the videos (although they may make less sense to the non-Welsh speakers out there!)
AK/DK will be playing with Damo Suzuki (of Can) this Friday 11th February at the Green Door Store. Click image for more details…
Bunty Le Jule will be supporting Shona Foster at the Brunswick in Hove this Thursday, 10th February. Click on image for details…
Some of you may remember “Beatabet: Alphabet” back in 2008, where we gutted and transformed the spaces under Brighton station to curate a two day festival with workshops, installations, performances, cinema and gigs. It’s great to see the space now being used as a venue and building a good reputation for itself.
Where will Beatabet work their magic next?
Thanks to Drawn Recordings and Kloudbreak for playing at Hectors last week. Hope to work with them more in the future. Also, Fancy My Band was AMAZING!!!
Beatabet Records’ sixth release will be this spring. An awesome collection of music from the five piece band Man Ray Sky fusing beautifully crafted melodic songs with gut wrenching experimental noise.
