Instrumental sonic explorers Spacenoid
return with a brand spanking new single “Vanished” out on Beatabet records. The song is a fizzy, percussive explosion of samples, guitars and orchestral flourishes that strides majestically through its densely packed four minutes. Referencing everything from post-rock luminaries such as Mogwai and Tortoise all the way through to electronic pioneers such as Four Tet and early Caribou, “Vanished” is a sunshine-infused trip through space and sound. The tune is backed up by an intriguing video by acclaimed up-and-coming director Andy Sowerby
that follows the escapades of a mysterious man and his marvellous headwear.
“Vanished” is the precursor to a full debut album from Spacenoid that will be out early next year and the band are planning a UK tour in the Autumn.

“psychedelic mind meddlers” Bearded Magazine
Epic psy-rockers Man Ray Sky hit home with their 4 track EP ‘Coreless’, to be released on the 18th November and available to pre-order now on their bandcamp. ’Coreless’ is a play fight between the best electro-rock mash-up around and a seriously psychedelic dance-core record with elements of NYC punk and afrobeat in the mix. A full length album is set for release on Beatabet next year AND you’ll be able to catch the band live on tour.
The ‘Luma’ music video has been selected for showcases at the bang! Short Film Festival and BBC Music Video Festival. The video was a collaboration between Andy Sowerby and Jay Thornton from the band, a suitably psychedelic trip it’s the perfect accompaniment to the tripped-out track.
“bits of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth vie with modernist Radiohead-tinged arrangements…wraps you up in a lovely blanket of guitars and whispers in your ear that everything’s going to be alright” Source Magazine
